Why We Only Make One Pepper Sauce

Walk down the hot sauce aisle of any store and you'll find dozens of bottles fighting for your attention — every heat level, every gimmick, every label louder than the last. So when people see our lineup and ask why we make just one pepper sauce, the honest answer is simple: the world didn't need us to add more noise. It needed us to make one we'd actually be proud of.

We didn't want to add to the pile

When we were building out our products, making a whole rack of hot sauces would have been the easy, expected move. We're a Texas sauce brand — of course we'd do hot sauce, right? But we kept coming back to the same question: would another five bottles of heat actually be better, or would they just be more? We decided we'd rather do one thing exceptionally well than a dozen things that blend into a crowded shelf.

So we made the one we couldn't put down

The bottle that survived that test is our Roasted Green Chile Pepper Sauce. It started as the thing we kept reaching for in our own kitchen — on eggs in the morning, over tacos at lunch, stirred into queso when friends came by. It earned its spot not because we needed a hot sauce in the catalog, but because we genuinely couldn't stop using it.

It's built around real roasted green chiles, which give it a smoky depth and a brightness you don't get from a sauce that's just chasing heat. The spice is there, but it builds slowly and works with your food instead of steamrolling it. It's the kind of heat that makes you want another bite, not a glass of milk.

What to put it on

Honestly? Almost anything that needs waking up. A few of our favorites:

Eggs and breakfast tacos. Burgers and brats. Anything Tex-Mex — tacos, enchiladas, queso. Roasted vegetables. Or straight off the spoon, which we won't pretend we haven't done.

One sauce, made on purpose

There's a quiet confidence in keeping a lineup focused. Every bottle we sell is one we'd put on our own table, and our pepper sauce is the clearest example of that. We didn't make it to check a box. We made it because it's good — and because one great bottle beats a shelf full of forgettable ones every time.

Give it a try and we think you'll see why it's the only one we needed. Shop our Roasted Green Chile Pepper Sauce →
